Die Heating Furnaces

Die Heating Furnaces

Features:

Have designed as cell type and top loading type for heating aluminium extrusion dies before mounting to extrusion press.

Manufactured as 2 cell capacity as one module. Different combinatoins of modules can be applied for higher capacity and can be controlled via same control cabinet.

Each cell which is operated and controlled independently has one die capacity.

Each cell is top loading type and has a sealed, tiltable type pneumatic actuated cover.

Cells are electrically heated. Due to ceramic covered heaters, heat transfer with radiation is prevented and life time of die is protected.

On traditional die heating furnaces, average energy consumption for per 6” die is 25kw/h. On HTG die heating furnaces, average energy consumption for per 4” ve 5” die is 4 kW/h, for per 6” ve 7” die is 7 kW/h, for per 8” ve 9” die is 10 kW/h.

Ideal die heating process time is approximately 120 minutes.

Different process receipts can be applied on each cell via operator panel on control cabinet.

An alarm system exists for warning the operator when heating process is comleted on a cell and “stand by” mode exists for preventing over heating the die if its left in the cell for a long time.
